Impact resistant faceshield
08 May 2018
Protective eyewear and eye care specialist Riley has launched REON - a new face shield offering workers the highest level of energy impact resistance combined with Class 1 optical quality.

Certified to EN 166 Level ‘A’, the highest attainable impact resistance performance under the EN test, REON protects against impacts up to 190m/s (425mph) even in extreme temperatures and comes complete with a fitted chin guard for full-face protection.
It is ideally suited to workers exposed to high-speed airborne particles such as in engineering environments, mills and wherever industrial cutting and sawing machinery is in operation.
REON’s frameless design provides the wearer with a wide and unrestricted field of vision, backed up by Class 1 optical quality and also benefits from an anti-fog coating for additional performance.
In addition to the highest level of protection and optical quality, REON is also comfortable thanks to a ratchet system which allows the wearer to adjust it for a personalised secure and comfortable fit.
There is also an adjustable pivot allowing the wearer to select the optimum angle and a simple visor replacement system.
