Noise kit upgrade
27 August 2013
Leicestershire Police has upgraded its noise monitoring equipment, selecting a Casella Health & Safety Kit to help protect its officers.

Chosen for their ease of use, reliability and accuracy, the 62x series sound level meter checks the noise levels on various equipment that are used for short periods of time, while the dBadge Noise Dosimeter is used on a more regular basis and attached to officers who are attending incidents where noise may be a risk.
Leicestershire Police's Matt Jones comments: "We particularly like the reports that the equipment can produce as the information helps us to meet our legal requirements, update our risk assessments and keep staff safe.”
