Vehicle lift specialist Stertil
Koni is celebrating its
achievement of
SAFEContractor for five
years in a row. The company
has been granted full
accreditation for the health
and safety scheme, which
assesses the competency of
contractors, every year since
2005.
Many large organisations now use SAFEContractor as a primary means of selecting contractors, by searching its database of 'approved suppliers'.
With a legal obligation to ensure contractors operate safely, SAFEContractor offers companies a simple way to access a list of accredited firms.
Stertil's continued accreditation recognises its consistently high standards of health and safety. In support of its application, the company has to submit evidence of its safe working practices, including details of risk assessments and emergency procedures; health and safety training arrangements; details of equipment testing and maintenance; and procedures on implementation of policy and control of subcontractors.
