Dr. Martens launches revolutionary DM's Lite footwear collection

The lightweight yet durable collection is said to be ideal for those working in the transport and logistics industries that often work long shifts and are required to carry out a variety of tasks in different environments.

Drawing on over half a century of shoe-making expertise the new DM’s Lite range has been engineered to provide lightweight comfort without compromising on functionality, performance or Dr. Martens’ reliability.

The pinnacle of this new range is the Calamus, a boot which is available in two colour-ways: Oxblood and Black. It features a unique lightweight, three-part TPU upper molding, injected directly onto a breathable synthetic mesh. The boot also benefits from a composite toe-cap and puncture resistant midsole enabling anti-static properties.

For ultimate comfort, the collection features a contoured, comfort Softwair antistatic footbed with moisture wicking properties. The memory foam cushioning at the ball and heel areas are anatomically positioned and shaped to give arch support. The collection also incorporates an antimicrobial treated breathable lining plus a padded collar and tongue to enhance comfort.  

The Nitrile rubber heat resistant outsole offers exceptional SRC slip resistance through the unique tread design.

Also in the range is the Corvid, which has been crafted with a full-grain leather upper in a classic oiled finish. For those looking for a low-cut alternative, the Linnet is an ideal choice, packing all of the safety benefits of the boot styles into a utility shoe.

The entire DM’s Lite range meets the EN ISO 20345:2011 safety specifications. Each style boasts a range of safety benefits, including: a composite toe cap, a flexible puncture-resistant midsole and a Nitrile rubber outsole that provides exceptional heat and slip resistance.
