Cirrus Research expands "try before you buy" products range
10 December 2015
Noise measurement experts Cirrus Research has expanded its Noise Hire division with additional products following increased customer demand.

Available through the recently launched NoiseHire.com website, requests for the "try before you buy" option have soared in recent months.
The popular hire out service has been taken up by a variety of clients including independent noise consultants, local authorities, housing associations and health & safety managers from the occupational health, environmental and noise nuisance sectors.
The range of product available to hire has now been extended to include the new Revo handheld vibration meter, added to the Cirrus portfolio last year.
Cirrus' Noise Hire service allows you to hire and try a range of noise and vibration monitoring equipment to ensure the kit is the right fit for the task in hand. If a customer then chooses to go on and buy the product they will get a 50% refund on the hire costs.
"We have found that the hire option has become increasingly popular as new customers want to be absolutely sure they have the right equipment before committing," explained Cirrus Research marketing manager Thomas Shelton.
"This way they get peace of mind that they fully understand, use and get the most out of the kit before making that final purchase decision. It can also be a big commitment for smaller companies or individuals who may only need it for a one-off project so this is a very cost-effective option."
The Noise Hire option is available on: Optimus Red, Optimus Green, the doseBadge personal dosimeter, the Revo vibration meter and the Trojan² noise nuisance recorder.
The new NoiseHire.com website makes it even easier to choose the right product with its step by step guide on instruments, environments and support services. Hire fees start from as little as £199 per week for noise kits or £249 for the Revo.
