Mike Ramirez, Arco’s senior manager for technical standards, has been awarded this year’s British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) Outstanding Contribution Award for exceptional service to the safety industry.
The award was presented at the BSIF’s Networking Event and Gala Dinner.
David Lummis, chief executive, BSIF said: "Passionate about improving the health and safety industry, Mike was at the forefront of the anti-counterfeit and illegal product campaign mounted by the BSIF. Continuing on his mission, he is now chairman of the BSIF Counterfeit and Illegal Products committee and also assists in managing the Registered Safety Supplier Scheme and plays a lead role in the Ethical Trading Initiative."
