First class installation

As with many sites, plant and machinery such as air conditioning units are housed on the School’s roofs which meant that access to the roof was required for maintenance of these units as well as for the roof itself. Fall protection was provided by lifeline systems, however systems such as these require high levels of training and supervision so an alternative solution was required.

 

Following a survey and assessment of the roof areas by Safesite, KeeGuard free standing guardrail was specified which allows maintenance work to be carried out in complete safety. KeeGuard provides permanent edge protection without the need to fix the system into the roof’s structure or membrane.
