Linde Material Handling has
invested £2.9m into strengthening its
forklift truck hire offering throughout
the UK, including its heavy trucks
fleet. Linde says that the investment
will further enhance its position as the
largest supplier of short term hire
trucks, now totalling over 10,000
machines across its UK network.
In the run up to Christmas, Frenchay Forestry, wholesalers of Christmas trees, hire two engine counterbalance trucks from Linde which move in the region of 40,000 palletised Christmas trees. Partner Richard Whittle said: "The bulk of our business is completed in a three week period, working round the clock to timed deliveries, so we can't afford any downtime. We know we can rely on Linde to provide us with reliable machines for as long as we need."
