Fast and accurate PID monitor
23 January 2013
The new Cub from Ion Science is reported to be one of the smallest, lightest, most sensitive personal photoionisation detection (PID) monitors for fast, accurate detection of volatile organic and total aromatic compound

The new Cub from Ion Science is
reported to be one of the smallest,
lightest, most sensitive personal
photoionisation detection (PID)
monitors for fast, accurate detection
of volatile organic and total aromatic
compounds for worker safety.
With what is said to be marketleading parts-per-billion (ppb) sensitivity, Cub gives an early warning of exposure to hazardous gases, including benzene.
It is also capable of detecting over 480 selectable gases and has a dynamic range of 1ppb to 5000ppm.
Small, compact and lightweight, the Cub is robust yet comfortable and unobtrusive to wear. It is available in three distinct variants.
