Protecting noisy workplaces
03 April 2019
MILLIONS OF workers are affected by high noise levels in their workplace, loud enough, around 80dB(A) – 85dB(A), that they have to raise their voices to hold a conversation and are at risk of hearing loss.
The PulsarSafeEar, a simple noise-activated warning sign from Pulsar Instruments provides the answer. Thanks to its clearly identifiable alert symbol, staff and visitors alike can take immediate action to protect themselves from noise by reaching for hearing protection or by taking action to reduce the noise levels around them.
You can extend the range of the SafeEar signs by connecting Remote Units to a Master sign. You can also add a Flashing Warning Beacon for extra visibility, and a Data Logger is available for those wanting to record and analyse their workplace noise levels.
