Alcumus Group expands leadership team

07 November 2018

ALCUMUS HAS announced the expansion of its leadership team with the appointment of Helen Jones, a new managing director to head up its certification division ISOQAR, and Val Rees as its new chief people officer to support Alcumus’ 550 employees and encourage staff engagement.

ISOQAR is one of the UK’s leading UKAS accredited certification bodies, offering certification and training to all major standards. As a chartered civil engineer with over 15 years’ experience in a variety of senior leadership roles across the construction and services sectors, Helen has a wealth of knowledge leading business units and specialised teams. Helen previously led the mobilisation and demobilisation of major outsourcing contracts for Carillion.

Helen said, “While ISOQAR is already one of the fastest growing certification bodies in the UK it is clear to see that the business has huge potential to grow and expand its product range further. I am excited to be working with such an experienced and focussed team and look forward to supporting clients through their certification journey.”

Val will be responsible for Alcumus’ people agenda, to support the business growth, drive employee engagement and ensure the company is a great place to work. A fellow of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development, Val brings over 30 years’ human resources expertise and experience to the team.

Alcumus group CEO Alyn Franklin added, “I am delighted to welcome both Helen and Val to Alcumus and I am confident that they will bring exciting new dynamics to our strong leadership team. They have both joined at a key time in Alcumus’ growth and their appointments are vital to continue our progress.”
