European appointment
09 June 2014
Cirrus Research has appointed Bart Buermans as its new European export sales manager as part of its strategic expansion across the continent.
In the newly created role, Bart will be working across Europe with particular emphasis on the company's Frankfurt and Barcelona offices where he will be supporting the existing sales team.
Bart's experience and knowledge of Cirrus’ noise monitoring products is already second to none having moved from one of its successful distributors, Scantec in Belgium where he was sales manager. He will be nominally based in Antwerp but expects to spend at least 50% of his time in the other European offices each month, as well as regular visits to the Cirrus head office in North Yorkshire and the new Cirrus Environmental base in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
Cirrus Research director of marketing Rick Heap said: "He will be able to pass on his insight to the other European sales teams and bring a new level of understanding of the markets to Cirrus. We are extremely lucky to have brought him on board and we’re confident he will strengthen relationships with existing clients as well as quickly establish new ones."
