Central appointment
07 December 2017
Personal protective equipment (PPE) and workwear specialist Supertouch has appointed Chris Deighton as business development manager to oversee the Midlands.
Deighton brings considerable experience and knowledge to Supertouch, and will assist in supporting the continued growth and expansion of the brand. He will be responsible for developing the business throughout the Midlands, customer service and advising on safety requirements.
Deighton joins Supertouch from Alexandra Workwear & Corporate Clothing, where he was account director. Here he spent six years managing the creation of a PPE and workwear channel as a new revenue stream. With a range of sales roles dating back to 1988, Deighton has developed a strong set of skills, not just his ability to manage key accounts but his field of expertise in the safety sector too.
Supertouch's national sales manager Mark Spree said: “We are delighted to welcome Chris to the team. With more than 25 year’s sales experience, we firmly believe that his appointment will support the business in its growth plan. His comprehensive background and knowledge of the health and safety industry makes him the perfect addition to our team.”
Chris added: “It is a great opportunity to support Supertouch in its continued growth. I am delighted to become part of the team, and look forward to embracing the new experiences and challenges that come with my role.”
