Second-skin dexterity and high level protection
12 May 2022
THE NEED for cut protection often overshadows other user requirements when specifying safety gloves.
Cut resistance is essential for industries such as engineering and manufacturing, but it should not come at the cost of dexterity. Workers carrying out production line tasks need to feel their work - particularly those working in assembly and fabrication.
Pawa has developed the PG535 ultrafine anti-cut gloves to provide workers with the essential protection and enhanced dexterity needed for tricky manufacturing jobs.
The PG535 features an ultra-light yet robust liner making it the thinnest glove in the Pawa range. Despite this, it is an exceptionally durable glove which offers maximum abrasion resistance and a reinforced thumb crotch. The PG535 also provides the certified EN ISO cut level D protection and dexterity necessary for handling sharps such as sheet metal or glass.
The Pawa PG535 achieves high levels of dexterity thanks to its lightweight 18 gauge liner. Acting as an anti-cut 'second skin', the PG535 allows users to feel their work with unparalleled accuracy - making this glove an excellent choice for intricate handling tasks.
Recent updates to machinery used in these industries have meant that touchscreen devices are commonplace, resulting in an increased need for gloves compatible with these devices. The Pawa PG535 offers a PU palm coating with touchscreen capabilities, enabling workers to operate the required equipment on-site whilst remaining protected.
