Ideal Solar Energy specialises in installing energy saving solar technologies.  With trained technicians based throughout the UK, the team are currently achieving multiple residential installs per day.  Following a company assessment, Ideal Solar Energy calculated that by switching from scaffolding to an access platform, it could save around £270 per property.  With both current and future expectations of use, the company purchased six Easi-Dec Solar Access Systems.

Ideal Solar Energy purchased the equipment in April 2013 and has already completed numerous projects. As the system can be assembled and dismantled in 30 minutes, installers are able to arrive on site, install the system, complete the maintenance job and leave the property on a strict schedule.   With this in mind, Ideal Solar Energy has calculated that once our Easi-Dec systems have been used on 2000 projects it will have made a saving of £277,000.

Installers often use scaffolding which is expensive and extends the time spent on a project. Using Easi-Dec’s Solar Access System allows the freedom to carry out work at a moment’s notice without having to liaise with a third party company. The Solar Access System does not require any tools for assembly, making it quick and simple to construct.

Easi-Dec’s Solar Access System has been designed to gain safe access up to roof level, releasing installers from dependence on scaffolding, and offering them a safe stable working platform combined with certified edge protection. The Solar Access System comprises 2 telescopic Decs and a Catwalk which will provide an 8 m or 10 m long working platform. Further Decs and Catwalks can be added to provide a limitless modular system. The system also includes a rolling window bar, strap operated legs and a purpose designed hoist for lifting solar panels to roof level.
