Brake reduces manual effort
29 April 2013
Linde Material Handling has introduced a hand pallet truck with a brake. The Pro Brake model is capable of lifting loads up to 2,500kg, providing a safer, more productive alternative in manual handling. The effort involved in moving Pro Brake from stationary is said to be one sixth of that compared to a similar machine without a brake.

The 'easy start' mechanism overcomes the initial inertia of a stationary truck, enabling the operator to get the laden machine moving quickly and effortlessly with no risk of a back injury. A parking brake gives the operator complete control of the truck with no danger of overrunning - important when handling heavy loads and when operating on ramps.
