COMBISAFE has provided its Safety Net Fan to protect those working on the construction of a 60 metre high air traffic control tower at Manchester Airport. Cheshire Scaffolds specified the Safety Net Fan Maxi to provide an effective fall-arrest system for the workforce, and to protect them from falling objects and debris.

Cheshire Scaffolds' Paul Brogan said: "With its extended reach, the Safety Net Fan Maxi delivered on every front, provided valuable protection to the workforce and met the client's strict safety requirements." The Safety Net Fan is said to be cost effective, adaptable, user friendly and significantly stronger than conventional methods with an energy absorption of up to 4.4 Kj.
