When one of the tallest scaffold
structures in the UK was about to be
dismantled from the 112.5 metre
Milton Court tower in the City of
London, maintaining the highest level
of operative and public safety in this
built up location was paramount.
Connect Scaffolding chose the
COMBISAFE Safety Net Fan Maxi to
provide an increased level of
protection and containment against
falling debris while the scaffold
structure was dismantled particularly
in respect to the resultant high wind
loads when working at such a height.
Without placing any operatives at risk of falling, the Safety Net Fan installation was carried out at various levels from behind the netting on existing working platforms. The Safety Net Fan Maxi complies with EN 1263 and can arrest falls of up to 100kg from a height of up to 6 metres.
