New from Weldability-Sif,
SIFOlympian is a high speed autodarkening
welding helmet for MIG,
TIG and MMA welding in auto body
repair, general maintenance and
repair situations, as well as light and
medium fabrication industries, plus
the DIY market.
The lightweight helmet with its patriotic bulldog logos is a limited edition product, only available until August 2012. It has a 0.1ms auto darkening reaction time once the arc is struck, making it one of the fastest on the market, and because it is able to operate down to 10 Amps, it is suitable for TIG welding. Other safety features include full face protection, darkness range variable between shade 9-13 with a light state of shade 4 and it offers up to DIN 10 UV/IR Protection.
The body of the helmet is made of lightweight polypropylene with a 93mm x 42mm viewing and has a fully adjustable ratchet headband for welder comfort.
