Get a head start in protection

Helmet Integrated Systems will be showcasing the Purelite Xstream, a new lightweight, head-mounted powered air purifying respirator (PAPR), which provides respiratory protection against solid aerosols/ particulates, and incorporates a polycarbonate faceshield to provide eye and face protection from impact and liquid splash. Weighing just 1kg, the Xstream features twin TH2P filters and a rechargeable 8 hour battery pack located inside the helmet shell. With an assigned protection factor of 20 (APF 20) the fan motor and filters deliver an airflow of 210 l/min, which is maintained at a minimum of 150 l/min when the battery duration is becoming exhausted. Also on display, new Pureweld powered air and airline supplied respirators combine an EN397 certified safety helmet with an integrated welding shield.
