FR brand Pionér has used its design and innovation expertise to update its best selling product the Firemaster. The Firemaster Plus will replace the Firemaster from autumn 2010.

It is now tested to new standard EN ISO 11612, and with the addition of a new colour, royal, Fristad says the best really has just got better.

The Firemaster Plus

• Tested to new safety standard EN ISO 11612.
• Introducing new colour, royal to its collection. Now available in 4 colours.
• 3M FR tape.
• Produced using only the best component parts.
• New style square pockets and zip up to neck provides wearers with extra
protection.
• Made with fabric from leading flame retardant fabric manufacturer Dalatec.
• Same quality, same brand, same excellence in design standards.

Dalatec fabric
• Daletec, for the past 35 years has been a leading manufacturer of Flame Retardant
fabrics.
• Using the best raw materials and textile dyes.

Firemaster Plus certified to new standard EN ISO 11612

The testing is now more rigorous and intensive on garments for the new standard.
• Safety standard EN 531 has now been replaced by EN ISO 11612 Clothing for heat and flame.
• The standards are targeted at testing finished garments, so now fabric, design specifications and garment features, such as seams have to comply.
• EN 11612 now includes F code for contact heat.
• Flame spread for EN11612 is tested both before and after laundry.
• Standard EN 531 used to test only the flame spread after 5 cycles, but with new standard EN 11612 ALL of the tests are made after 5 laundry cycles.
• Each wash cycle is now followed by drying, so for example, 100 washes goes through 100 dry cycles. Prior to this the garments were only dried after the final wash.
