Vericon Systems HomeHub secures award
22 May 2025
VERICON SYSTEMS rounded off a successful ASCP Conference 2025 by winning the ASCP Product of the Year Award for its intelligent, in-property HomeHub device.

The Product of the Year Award recognises innovative products or solutions that are specifically designed to drive real efficiencies for social housing landlords and their tenants, whether it be for greater safety, energy or cost savings. HomeHub, which was launched earlier this year, was selected as the outstanding solution in the category, with the judging panel crediting the strength of Vericon’s submission in highlighting the true potential HomeHub can provide both landlords and residents.
HomeHub, with its intuitive user-friendly touchscreen, provides real-time visibility into environmental conditions within a property, such as humidity levels. The system alerts residents to potential damp and mould issues in real time, by assessing the risk in each room every five minutes rather than providing a general view over a 24-hour period.
Thanks to its intelligent machine learning, the system ‘learns’ the property’s unique heating characteristics, providing landlords with in-depth data to help identify properties where retrofit works would deliver value. HomeHub also enables direct communication between landlords and residents so both parties can track maintenance and repair work, with a full audit trail of what happened and when.
Bernard Cook, managing director of Vericon Systems, says the award is recognition of Vericon’s unwavering commitment to design and develop new solutions that provide social housing landlords, and their tenants, with a deeper understanding of their properties environment: “HomeHub works to promptly and proactively address the challenges posed by poor environmental conditions.
“While various issues contribute to the problem, it’s crucial to identify the root cause. With its intelligent analytics and AI learning, Homehub autonomously informs residents about problems using bespoke videos and suggested solutions. It also ensures landlords are kept informed about these interactions, promoting education and transparency between all parties involved. This proactive approach provides a deeper understanding of the living environment and enables housing providers to make informed decisions to improve conditions for residents.”
