SHE Awards announces new date and host
01 September 2020
WESTERN BUSINESS Media (WBM) organisers of The Safety & Health Excellence Awards, after much consideration and following the recent government guidelines regards organising events safely during the Covid-19 pandemic, have taken the decision to move the Awards presentation evening to Tuesday, 24th November 2020.
As you would expect, we will ensure that all the necessary precautions regards guarding against Covid-19 transmission will be taken and an enjoyable and safe evening will be had by all.
With the change of date, also comes a change of host for the evening! We’re thrilled to announce that our new host is the man who The Times hailed as a ‘voice virtuoso’ the multi-talented Alistair McGowan!
The Awards, which has Lyreco as headline sponsor, will once again be hosted at the VOX in Resorts World, NEC Birmingham. Last year more than 525 people attended the gala dinner to celebrate the very best in the UK health & safety sector. This years’ awards, hosted by well-known comedian and impressionist Alistair McGowan, promises to be another fantastic evening.
More than 200 entries were made for the Awards and were judged by an esteemed list of judges who are industry experts. The shortlist can be seen in full here.
