Konecranes Demag UK signs Armed Forces Covenant

Lifting equipment manufacturer and service provider, Konecranes Demag UK, has signed the Armed Forces Covenant.

The company has pledged to promote a recruitment pathway for service personnel, their spouses and partners, ensuring that no member of the Armed Forces faces disadvantage in seeking employment with Konecranes Demag UK Ltd
It also recognises that, in some circumstances, special treatment may be appropriate and has promised support, including special leave and deployment, for reservists and leaders of military cadet organisations.
Karen Winfield, UK HR director, says: “Our experience has shown that Armed Forces leavers have a mature, disciplined and team-focused approach to their employment. These qualities are a good fit with our goal of delivering the highest standards of customer-focused service.”
