BSIF appoints new RSSS manager

Alan Murray, BSIF CEO said, “I am delighted to announce that Roy Wilders has joined BSIF to manage the Registered Safety Supplier Scheme. Roy is a very experienced professional from the PPE market and will bring a real focus to the scheme. His appointment is another step forward for BSIF in our support of the membership and the UK Safety and Health Industry.”

On his appointment Roy Wilders said, “I am pleased and excited to have taken up the role of Manager for the Registered Safety Supplier Scheme (RSSS) within the British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) and look forward to helping member organizations established and new to understand the value and the benefits of the scheme, as well as helping them to protect and improve the health and safety of the UK workforce.

The BSIF and I share an anniversary this year (2019) as we both became involved in the Health & Safety marketplace some 25 years ago – The BSIF has aged better than I have!

My experience and knowledge within the H&S arena stems from time spent working with major distributors and Manufacturers of PPE/Safety Equipment in the UK and overseas, in a variety of roles both Commercial (sales/branch management for example) and Technical (Product Development and Certification/Compliance of products).

My passion for Health & Safety is driven by life-changing accidents that have affected family members during their working lives and my desire to help drive engagement and change that means other families will not have to share the same experience.
