Supertouch appoints new operations manager

PPE and workwear specialist, Supertouch, has appointed Paul Tandy as operations manager.

In his new role, Tandy will be responsible for the effective and safe operation of the logistics function for the business. He will oversee the warehousing operation and distribution of orders to ensure the company continues to run efficiently, reflecting Supertouch’s values by meeting the expectations and needs of customers throughout the UK.

Joining Supertouch from Oakland International, a temperature storage and logistics service, Tandy managed a large team and was responsible for product distribution. With an abundance of knowledge and experience spanning well over a decade, he has a track record of success, even extending into the international market.

Stephen Beresford, strategic marketing manager at Supertouch said: “Following a period of continuous growth, the role of operations manager is central to the smooth running of our business - and Paul’s background is the perfect fit. He will be an extremely beneficial member of the team.”

Tandy said: “I am really looking forward to taking on this new challenge and playing a part in furthering Supertouch’s growth plans, maintaining its reputation in the safety sector as well as across vertical markets.”
