Trucks to reduce manual handling
13 April 2017
Toyota Material Handling UK will be exhibiting at the inaugural Scotland Works.
The company will be showcasing a range of hand pallet trucks and powered pallet trucks that reduce manual handling. They’ll also be on hand to provide support and free safety resources to visitors to the stand who use materials handling equipment.
The free safety resources include forklift safety guides, manual handling guides and a number of best practice posters for reach trucks, powered stackers, powered pallet trucks and forklifts. Toyota team members will be available to talk to visitors about their materials handling operations and provide them with product advice ranging from simple hand pallet trucks to the latest range of engine and electric-powered forklifts.
Harry White, regional sales manager for Scotland, Toyota Material Handling UK, said: “Promoting health and safety in the workplace is important to Toyota and this event provides the ideal platform for us to demonstrate how our products can help to reduce the risk involved in manual handling and improve safety at work”.
The stands will feature a range of manual and powered pallet trucks designed to help reduce manual handling. These include a BT Pro Lifter hand pallet truck that requires up to 67% less start up effort than a conventional hand pallet truck, a BT High Lifter hand pallet truck which features an ergonomic work station and the new BT Levio LWE130 entry level powered pallet truck, all designed to move loads safely and efficiently.
