Safety cloud app

26 June 2015

A new compliance app was unveiled at this year’s Safety & Health Expo from cloud-based health and safety management provider, Southalls.

The Safety Cloud app provides mobile access to the key elements of the Safety Cloud online platform via smartphones and tablets.

Suitable for businesses with multiple locations or larger health and safety teams, the app enables users to record internal audits, equipment checks, maintenance certificates and other key data while out on site. E-learning videos and other support materials are also available via the app and all data is automatically uploaded to the cloud.

Developed by experienced health and safety professionals, Safety Cloud is customisable to the specific needs of individual clients and provides complete and instant visibility of current compliance.

Commenting on the launch of the app, co-founder John Southall said: "Safety Cloud has always been closely aligned to the needs of health and safety professionals, as it was first developed by a team of experienced enforcement officers who understand the realities and challenges of health and safety management.

"The launch of the app makes it even easier and more convenient for health and safety professionals to manage their compliance and to take advantage of the easy-to-use system, irrespective of their location.”

Safety Cloud allows health and safety professionals to manage a full and detailed health and safety audit trail, covering risk assessments, internal audits, accident management, training and maintenance. The system currently has 50,000 individual users who benefit from a useful reminder function together with a task manager facility that allocates actions to team members.
