Good vibrations

Weighing 11.9kg, it features the patented Makita Anti Vibration Technology of dynamic vibration absorber, which uses the pneumatic air pressure of the impact piston to move a counterweight in the body of the machine to dampen out the vibrations.

 

The body and grip handle are effectively separated from the motor and drive assembly to reduce vibration transmission to the operator. With a soft start and soft no load speed electrical control system, vibrations are ultra - low at 9.0m/s² in rotary drilling mode enabling double the recommended operating time.

Motor power is increased to 1,510watts – the HR5212C is available in 110v and 240v mode – with the impacts per minute of the SDS Max shank rising to 2,250 and generating 19.1 joules of impact energy.
