Airport assistance

11 July 2014

With Heathrow Terminal 2 having just opened, Bradshaw Electric Vehicle has a new vehicle arriving to ensure waste and recycling is not delayed.

The Pedestrian Controlled PT50 has been supplied to ISS World, which specialises in providing the full range of facility services to public agencies and private sector companies across a wide range of markets.

ISS World will be putting the new Bradshaw vehicle in to Terminal 2 to move waste and recycling from storage to compactors, ready for collection. Reducing manual handling risks and ensuring stringent safety requirements were met were key priorities for the company.

A three-wheel vehicle, Bradshaw’s Pedestrian Controlled PT50 has impressive maneuverability to tackle the airport environment safely. With a payload capacity of 500kg, it is suitable for moving portable wheelie bins quickly and safely.
