The next generation Identicom 8
Series lone worker device from
Connexion2 is now
available. Made in Britain
from quality components,
the new 870 and 877
devices are styled as an identity
badge for discreet wear and use.
The 8 Series range meets the lone worker device requirements laid out by BS8484 but goes significantly further to include configurable one or two way audio depending on risk profile. A market leading 32bit ARM processor platform allows 'Over The Air' (OTA) software upgrades, and a new, slick, web-based configuration process helps simplify and speed up the delivery of solutions to customers.
Identicom also deploys the latest Sirf IV GPS technology, which improves the user experience by delivering a quicker time to first fix.
Endorsed by the police, the 8 Series range is said to offer customers more for less: the entry level Identicom 870 occupies the same price point as its predecessor, the i750 but automatic 'Man Down' detection is standard.
