The Class 1 meter conforms to IEC 61672-1 standard and is suitable for industrial hygiene, short period environmental, and general acoustic noise measurement. It can also be used by acoustics consultancies and technical engineers dealing with general noise issues.
The SVAN 971 provides broad-band results with all required weighting filters, as well as 1/1 octave & 1/3 octave analysis. It can be operated in a wide range of temperatures and environments.
