First time exhibitor Toyota will offer companies advice on manual handling as well as distributing free resources to help improve safety in the workplace. The Health & Safety events are an important part of Toyota's safety campaign 'Taking Care with Toyota', which has been designed to help companies reduce injury and accidents in the workplace. During 2012 Toyota will be providing customers and prospects with advice on safety in relation to materials handling equipment, plus distributing a range of free safety resources.

Tony Wallis, sales and marketing director for Toyota Material Handling UK, says: "Promoting health and safety in the workplace is important to Toyota and these Health & Safety events provide the ideal platform for us to demonstrate how our products can help to reduce the risk of manual handling and improve safety at work." The stands will feature a range of manual and powered pallet trucks designed to help with manual handling. These include a BT Pro Lifter hand pallet truck that requires up to 67% less start up effort than a conventional hand pallet truck, a BT High Lifter hand pallet truck which features an ergonomic work station and the compact BT Levio powered pallet truck, all designed to move loads safely and efficiently.

A number of free safety resources that provide tips for forklift safety, manual handling and the correct operation of equipment will also be available on the stand for visitors.
