Honeywell Safety Products
has introduced Sync, the next
generation of stereo earmuffs
from Howard Leight.
Sync ensures hearing protection in hazardous noise environments along with high-fidelity stereo sound from an MP3 player.
"Most stereo earmuffs provide a moderate level of hearing protection, but often sacrifice the sound quality of MP3 players - which can discourage their use," says Renee S. Bessette, COHC, global brand manager, Howard Leight/Honeywell Safety Products. "Sync stereo earmuffs provide both hearing protection and listening enjoyment." With an SNR (Single Number Rating) of 31, Sync's Volume Management Technology manages sound levels reaching the user's ear and prevents the user from turning the volume up too high.
It can be used with a users' own MP3 player, mobile phone and other personal audio devices.
