No losing sight of loss adjusters

Specialist loss adjuster, QuestGates, has adopted lone worker security device, Identicom, to protect its field investigators when working alone.

QuestGates has chosen Connexion2's SoloProtect solution, which incorporates Identicom with a range of services as part of a fixed, inclusive price including SIM Card and Airtime, 24/7 facility to link to Alarm Receiving Centre, Device Training and a dedicated Customer Support team.

Counter fraud director, John Freeman, says: "Our field investigators can be by themselves on site for several hours at a time. It's no secret that fraud investigators come up against some unpleasant people and staff can be verbally abused and physically threatened. We clearly have a duty of care to our lone workers. While telephone based systems have served their purpose we wanted to explore other options to ensure our people feel protected and have the support they need".
