This year's Big Book catalogue from Arco has a fresh new look and feel as the company cements its position as one of the UK's leading safety companies with new product solutions, training packages and consultancy services to help keep people safe at work.
With over 924 pages, featuring the biggest range of products and the widest choice, Arco says its Big Book has become the reference tool for safety managers, business owners and workers throughout the UK and Ireland for selecting the best safety products and advice. The latest edition features striking new images that illustrate key products in action and the layout has been designed to clearly define products by sector as well as by application. With pages giving advice and guidance on choosing the right product for the job and meeting the required standards, the Arco catalogue is a trusted source of information and expert advice. Customers can now view and search through the entire Arco product range, find their local Arco branch and call to place orders directly from the new Big Book iphone App available from iTunes.
It's not just the Big Book that is undergoing a transformation as Arco's award-winning website was relaunched in line with the new catalogue on 12th September. There are some exciting features and a brand new look that is designed to enhance the customer experience, such as the product advisor function now includes hearing protection which will guide customers through a detailed search enabling them to select the most appropriate protection for the job, as well as new and improved navigation.
This year Arco's own Trojan Tradesman range has been extended to include a full selection of functional but fashionable workwear consisting of a Craftsman Trouser, Bonded Fleece and Multi-jacket. Amongst the latest products in Arco's safety footwear range is the new occupational slip resistant footwear from Trojan.
Developments in hand protection include new gloves in its Gripz range for the waste and recycling industries. In line with Arco's commitment to supporting charitable causes, it is promoting the N-Dex Pink Medical Examination glove with a portion of the proceeds of each sale going to support organisations promoting breast cancer research and awareness.
New 'hidden gems' include an exclusive range of high performance power tools from Panasonic, new sustainable absorbents for managing spills and clean ups from EcoSpill, as well as exclusive ranges of cleaning and janitorial products from trusted brands such as Diversey and Hospec.
Looking to the future and to new industries that are expected to grow, Arco has developed a package of products specifically for the wind renewables industry, focussing on those involved in equipment maintenance on land and at sea. Products in this range include head protection from Centurion, a fall arrest harness with unique features from Miller by Honeywell and a life jacket with GPS tracking.
The ARC Safety Services range of safety consultancy and training programmes has been extended and the team has grown to provide local training services throughout the country. This means that businesses whatever the size and wherever they are located, will have access to expert advice and support in order to comply with safety legislation and keep their workers protected at all times. Full details are provided in a brand new section at the front of the new Big Book or online. To get your free copy call 01482 222522 or visit www.arco.co.uk/catrequest.
