Stress awards: Deadline
23 January 2013
The deadline for the first annual National Stress Management Awards entries is fast approaching.
The deadline for the first annual National Stress Management Awards entries is fast approaching.
This new professional awards scheme gives organisations the opportunity to demonstrate successful stress prevention methods, and good management of pressure in the workplace.
ISMA UK has created the awards to recognise organisations that make a positive contribution to protecting or improving the mental health of their workforce, and to promote the benefits that a successful stress management policy can bring.
Research has shown that addressing stress in the workplace can dramatically reduce sickness absence.
The awards are open to all UKbased organisations with a stress management policy in place, including private and public, commercial and not-for-profit, large, medium and small. Entries for this award must be received by 18 March 2011 via a simple form available on the ISMA website.
The Award Ceremony will take place at the Annual Stress Management Conference in Central London on 15 September, 2011.
