The Combilift Combi-CB 4-way
counterbalance design truck was one
of three finalists in the IMHX Design
4 Safety Awards in the Industrial
Trucks category.
"Improving safety has always been a priority for us when it comes to product development, and our range is known for its ability to reduce the risks involved when handling long as well as palletised loads," commented Combilift MD, Martin McVicar.
With the Combi-CB, the need for reversing is virtually eliminated, reducing the risks associated with this manoeuvre for operators (repetitive strain) and personnel in the vicinity.
There is no need for risky high level transportation of longer loads around obstacles or parked vehicles. Low level handling improves visibility as there is no impediment to the driver's sight line.
The driver's seat is situated towards the rear of the truck offering better spatial awareness. Allround visibility from the cab makes it easier for operators to work in confined areas with no fatigue.
