NEBOSH welcomes new trustee to Board
12 November 2019
NEBOSH HAS welcomed Sharon Affleck to its Board of Trustees.
Sharon has extensive senior management experience in a range of businesses, particularly the FMCG sector. Most recently Sharon was Sales & Marketing Director for Branston Holdings Ltd. Prior to this she successfully contributed to the senior management team of a number of organisations, including G’s Fresh, Sydney Hart and Worldwide Fruit.
Sharon’s track record in strategic development and implementation is particularly relevant as NEBOSH embarks on a new, three-year strategy that will see it become the very best in everything it does.
Also pertinent is Sharon’s demonstrable experience in employee engagement and satisfaction, an asset that will greatly support NEBOSH’s ambitions to become an employer of choice.
Bill Nixon, NEBOSH Chair, said, “It is with great pleasure that we welcome Sharon to NEBOSH’s Board of Trustees. As NEBOSH celebrates its 40th anniversary, her experience in a wide range of strategic areas will be hugely beneficial as we look to the next chapter in our organisation’s success.
“Throughout her career Sharon has travelled the world, working with a multitude of international partners. This will be a great strength as NEBOSH continues to work with partners based in over 130 countries, contributing to our vision of preserving and improving health, safety, well-being and the environment in workplaces worldwide.”
