Whole face protection
03 October 2023
UVEX PHEOS is a protection system that protects the whole face, as well as the eyes. Thanks to its innovative design, which does not require a helmet, it simultaneously relieves strain on the sensitive neck area and provides greater freedom of movement during everyday work.
The uvex pheos faceguard consists of an ergonomic height- and width-adjustable head strap and a robust polycarbonate visor. The visor protects the whole face and offers a wide field of vision with optical quality class 1. The uvex pheos faceguard has a low weight and its centre of gravity is perfectly balanced in the centre of the head, allowing the wearer to maintain a natural posture and noticeably relieving the strain on the neck — a particular advantage for industrial applications.
Lightweight and well-ventilated face protection
In comparison to other face protection systems with helmets, the uvex pheos faceguard is lighter and better ventilated, making it more comfortable to wear, even for people who wear spectacles: Prescription spectacles can be comfortably worn underneath the visor, which is coated with the anti-fog and scratch-resistant uvex supravision coating. The system is completely pre-assembled and ready to use immediately. The individual components such as the visor lens and sweatband are easy to change in the event of wear, ensuring maximum service life.
Modular system for greater flexibility
The anti-glare visor has uvex UV400 protection, meaning that it protects the entire face from harmful UV rays. Its modular system makes the uvex pheos faceguard particularly versatile and allows it to be used in a number of industrial sectors. The uvex pheos faceguard is available with or without hearing protection and can also be combined with other equipment, such as a respirator, depending on the application.
