Lifting and rotating reels

This attachment has two handwheels, one is used for both the reel gripping and release. The second is for the reel rotation to and from the vertical to horizontal orientations. The combination of these handwheels provides easy operation and precise control. The reels are securely gripped by the external diameter. This mechanism has a torque limiter fitted so that the clamping rollers do not over or under tighten onto the reel. This enables the operator to lift and transport reels with complete confidence and safety.

The attachment has been re-designed to provide greater load capacity, strength, durability as well as improved wear resistance and enhanced ease of use which provides a simple and safe action.

This lifting equipment is suitable for the food and pharmaceutical industries, and other hygienic applications; and features new, FDA approved, nitrile rubber rollers.

The attachment is backed up by a full bespoke design service so ensuring that the right solution can be made to suit most reels.

All Packline attachments are fully interchangeable and can be easily fitted or removed from any model of ‘Compac’ lifting machine that is fitted with the quick release system.
