Fit2Fit scheme & ISRP host joint event
06 December 2016
The Fit2Fit scheme continues to be a leading initiative for the Federation, helping to drive improvements in RPE fit testing and encouraging best practice.
In conjunction with the International Society for Respiratory Protection (ISRP), we are delighted to be hosting a collaborative event for the face fitting community. This will take place at the Arden Hotel in Birmingham, between 14th-15th December.
Day 1, for ISRP members will include presentations from leading experts in the field of Respiratory Protection, with content from the 2016 ISRP International Conference in Yokohama, Japan. Mike Clayton, President of the International Society for Respiratory Protection and technical lead for PPE at the HSE together with Peter Griffin, Principal Specialist Inspector at the HSE will be speaking about why face fitting continues to be so important.
Day 2 will include hands-on practical fit testing sessions and presentations from keynote speakers on key developments in face fitting, including the recent updates to the main guidance document, OC282/28. Audience engagement will be encouraged throughout these sessions to ensure experiences are shared and quality continues in face fit testing.
We look forward to welcoming you to the event.
