Welcome on board to our new membership manager
28 October 2016
The most recent addition to the BSIF team, Paul Manning has joined as the new membership manager following an illustrious career that started in the Royal Navy.
Paul started work in the PPE and workwear industry in 2002 as an area sales manager advising clients from Local Government authorities and large engineering companies on PPE requirements and selling directly into those same end users. In 2011 he became a sales manager for a national PPE and workwear company and in doing so, built its product range anew and kick started an entirely new client base, selling into a variety of distributors and end users.
Paul made the move into PPE testing and CE certification in 2013 as a sales manager with 'Intertek'. This gave him invaluable insights into European and global standards and the possible pit-falls of poorly manufactured goods within this market. This knowledge and insight will be invaluable in his new role with the BSIF following the relaunch of our strengthened Registered Safety Suppliers Scheme. Welcome on board Paul!
