BSIF Safety Awards 2016 Winners announced

The British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) unveiled the 2016 Safety Awards champions to a packed audience at the Safety & Health Expo on 21st June.

The winners and finalists of the Product Innovation Award, Service Award and Safety Excellence Award were revealed.
Alan Murray, BSIF CEO said “Delivering a first class health and safety product or service is something that all of these organisations have in common and we are delighted to be able to recognise this work. I would like to congratulate all of the winners as their individual contribution is truly making a difference to the industry, ensuring we continue to innovate, improve safety for the end user and provide exceptional service levels to the UK market.”
The winners are:
BSIF Product Innovation Award
The award for products that are new and innovative and will contribute to improvements in occupational safety and health.
Winner: Portwest - Peakview Helmet
Highly Commended: BM Polyco - Pirtek Fluid Power Glove
Highly Commended: 3M - E-A-Rift Dual Ear Validation System
Commended: Zonzini - Stair Climber
Commended: Retrasafe - Retractable Ladder Stabiliser
BSIF Service Award
The award for companies in the safety field offering exceptional and innovative service solutions, voted by the entrants’ own customers.
Winner: Portwest Ltd
Highly Commended: Hands HQ
Highly Commended: The McOnie Agency
Commended: Lighthouse Safety Training
Commended: Buck & Hickman
BSIF Safety Excellence Award
The award based upon case studies submitted by members, these awards recognise major improvements in occupational safety created in 2015/2016.
