Interactive evacuation demos
27 May 2016
Evac+Chair are back at the Safety & Health Expo with their award winning interactive stand, with live demonstrations and performances of the evacuation chair in action.
Evac+Chair International say that they are the world’s number one suppliers and original manufacturers of evacuation chairs. The chairs are designed to accommodate disabled or mobility impaired people, allowing them to descend a staircase in an emergency situation without the need of great physical strength or lifting.
With over 35 years’ experience, and more than 30 distributors worldwide, Evac+Chair have become leading specialists in emergency evacuation, providing comprehensive training and education to ensure the effective use of its products.
Stand S1900
Sigma Fire & Security, manufacturers and distributors of specialist fire safety and security products, are exhibiting at Firex. They will display their range of Smart+ products which aid in the prevention of vandalism, accidental alarm activation and misuse.
The Smart+Guard range is constructed from robust polycarbonate with a tough tamper resistant protective cover. The Smart+Guard has a fully rotational hinge, which also combats vandalism and stops replacement covers being needed. They are fitted with a battery powered alarm, that when activated emits an ear piercing 90db pre-alarm, warning the operator that the device is for emergency use only. The alarm reduces instances of malicious tampering to zero in 90% of establishments now fitted with the device.
