Think you’ve got talent?
07 August 2015
On 1 October, BSIF will announce the winners of the inaugural Talent Matters Awards sponsored by Miller McKenzie at the BSIF Networking Day in Birmingham.
The Talent Matters Awards 2015 will be presented in three business categories: small (0-50 employees) medium (50-100) and large (100+). Entry is free and only open to BSIF members.
These awards have been established to celebrate health and safety businesses who demonstrate how they have developed and rewarded their employees’ talent through innovative business practices. These could include incentive schemes, or outstanding training programmes. An anonymous employee survey will also be conducted which will be presented to the participating companies in a confidential report so that they can get insights into their employee engagement levels.
The results generated from the application process will give business leaders the chance to gain a better understanding of their workforce, which could lead to better work practices and improved business performance. Winning a Talent Matters Award will also highlight that the respective organisations are fantastic places to work, incentivising existing employees and potentially attracting new recruits.
Commenting on the awards, Alan Murray, CEO of the BSIF said "The success of any business is directly attributable to the employees within it and it’s time to shout about the triumphs in our industry through the Talent Matters Award.”
The closing date for the Talent Matters Awards is the 7th September. Trophies will be presented at the BSIF Networking Event on 1st October. To request an application form please contact Miriam Page from Miller McKenzie on miriam@mmexec.co.uk or call 01522 731371.
