Evac+Chair International and Sigma Fire & Security exhibited at the Intersec Show held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre on 18 – 20 January 2015.

On display was a selection of Evac+Chairs; an evacuation solution for stairway descent during an emergency situation without the need of great physical strength or lifting. Alongside the range of evacuation chairs was the Sigma Fire & Security product range designed to protect fire, safety and security equipment, the ‘Smart +’ range of devices create a delay and act as deterrent and therefore reduce the likelihood of accidental damage, vandalism and misuse. The stand allowed visitors to interact with the products and participate in live demonstrations.

The Intersec Show is the world’s largest and most comprehensive trade and networking exhibition for the Security and Safety industries, offering a wide variety of products from Commercial Security, Information Security, Fire & Rescue, Health & Safety, Homeland Security and Policing. This year saw 1237 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors from 131countries in attendance.

 

Sigma Fire & Security is the latest division of Evac+Chair International, a leading supplier and original manufacturer of the evacuation chair. Sigma FS design, develops, manufactures and distributes a range of specialist fire and security products. Based in Birmingham and headed up by Ges Wallace who has 30 years’ experience within the fire & security industry, some of Sigma’s key partners include GfS Germany and Vimpex UK.
