BSIF’s Bible aka the BSIF Reference Guide
28 January 2015
This year’s BSIF guide, all 99 pages, makes for essential reading. From Alan Murray’s warm welcome through to the directory of useful contacts at the back, you can brush up on your knowledge on hand, height, hearing and footwear protection.
On page 5 there is information on the Registered Safety Suppliers Scheme and on the inside back cover you can find a simple reference to the most commonly used European harmonised standards (EN’s) currently applicable to safety equipment.
Get inspired by the 2014 BSIF Safety Awards winners on page 76 and find out who won the Outstanding Contribution Award and Commitment to Federation Activities Award at the Networking Day held in The Belfry in September on page 77.
If you’re beginning to be tempted to join the Federation, you will find the benefits of membership clearly outlined on pages 8-9. In the year of a general election, the BSIF is confidently asserting the voice of the safety and health industry at Westminster and Brussels on behalf of the membership and helping individual members to do the same.
Finally the A to Z is a handy product and services selector listing which you can find on pages 78-88.
