BSIF welcomes new members
02 June 2014
As reported in the May issue of HSM, the BSIF has seen a growth in membership from specialist suppliers of equipment and expert providers of training in the health and safety market. It’s our pleasure to introduce two of our new members, Air Management Systems Ltd (AMS) and SMH Products.
Air Management Systems
Launched in 1994, Air Management Systems (AMS) is one of Europe’s leading suppliers of asbestos removal consumables, plant and equipment, supplying hundreds of companies around Europe. AMS supplies customers with high quality products and guarantees to save time, money and effort on all customers’ requirements.
Commenting on becoming a member of the BSIF, Darren Kitchenham, managing director of AMS said: "Our decision to become a member of the BSIF was a very easy one, as it is a Federation that represents its members on a number of platforms, including in Government departments and trade bodies in the UK. We are looking forward to working with the BSIF as they continue to raise the profile of organisations within the health and safety industry.”
SMH Products
For more than 30 years, SMH Ltd has been a leading provider of specialist equipment and services to all industries and sectors where workers are at risk of contamination. SMH Ltd is committed to understanding each customers needs to deliver a complete solution every time, as well as providing health and safety training including IOSH accredited courses.
As a new member of the BSIF, commercial director at SMH Products Ltd, Dean Rowe commented: "Becoming a BSIF member affords the company many benefits; we will now be better represented in the health and safety industry, particularly when it comes to the update of legislation and providing industry with a source of authoritative information on a range of workplace safety issues.”
Keep an eye out for the next issue of HSM where we will be speaking to more of the Federation’s new members and hearing their reasons for choosing to join the BSIF.
