BSIF in action

They are organised by function, with associations for specific activities for example Personal Safety Manufacturers Association (PSMA); Product Groups that cover everything from head to safety footwear and Working Groups to develop and control projects for example the Spills Containment & Control Group.  

Recently the Skin Protection Group updated and re-launched the ‘It’s In Your Hands’ campaign to help reduce dermatitis and skin cancer, and the Hearing Protection Product Group is working with the Health & Safety Executive to develop training material for an educational project. This is managed by the newly formed ‘Listen Today, Hear Tomorrow’ Working Group. For more detailed updates on BSIF associations, product groups and working groups keep an eye on the next issue of HSM.
